Americans are living longer than ever. Older Americans are a growing community. The Older Americans Act ushered in support services that helped Older Americans live healthier and more independent lives. The 50th anniversary of President Johnson’s signing of the Act was a great opportunity to showcase the milestones accomplished through this important piece of legislation.
